A episodic title (series) consists of multiple episodes that comprise a seasonfor example, a TV show ("The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel") or multi-part documentary.
A title can have multiple seasons. For episodic titles available for purchase, you choose if an entire collection (season) or individual videos (episodes) is available for purchase.
Important: When you publish a season and select an availability that allows customers to buy an entire season as a single purchase, you can't add additional episodes later; a new season must be created.
Note: A title’s metadata language determines the locations to which it can be published. For supported languages by location, see Location Requirements.
A minimum of one crew member must be added, but we recommend that you also enter at least key actors for improved search discoverability on Prime Video. If you're publishing a movie or TV show, then you must provide a Director.
After you've entered a cast or crew member, reorder the list by using the up and down arrow buttons, or delete an entry by click the X button. For cast members, the top four entries will appear as "Starring" actors on Prime Video.
When adding files from your computer, don’t close your web browser window until the file transfer is complete.
Note: If your upload is interrupted (including browser crashes, exiting a tab, or loss of Internet connectivity), select the same file, click Add episode, and the upload will resume where it left off.
If you select Buy Episodes or Buy Season, you're asked to choose between Preset pricing and Custom pricing (advanced). Preset pricing includes Value, best for older and back catalog videos, and Base, best for balancing cost with wide audience appeal. Amazon reserves the right to change prices.
For episodic titles, the season price is calculated on the number of episodes when a season is published.
Note: For information about royalties, see Royalty Information.
