These videos provide a tutorial for using Prime Video Direct. The videos are in English, with subtitles for other supported languages.
At this time, we're no longer accepting unsolicited licensing submissions via Prime Video Direct for non-fiction and short form content. We’ll notify you if these categories become available for consideration.
The first step in adding a video to your account is creating a title by listing the title name, selecting a category (based on your video's duration), and choosing the a metadata language that corresponds to the location you're publishing to.Video: Creating a title entry
Your Catalog Listing includes the synopsis, genre, Country of Origin, rating, and graphic assets. Optionally, you can specify the title's original release language and the original release date.Video: Catalog Listing
A minimum of one crew member must be added, but we recommend that you also enter at least key actors for improved search discoverability on Prime Video. If you're publishing a movie or TV show, then you must provide a Director.Video: Cast & Crew
ideo assets include your mezzanine (video) file, captions file, and an optional trailer. Files can be added from your computer or Amazon S3 account. When adding files from your computer, don’t close your web browser window until the file transfer is complete.Video: Video Assets
Eligible locations are based on the metadata language selected when adding a title. Only one metadata language can be selected per title and it can't be changed after selected. To add a new location, add new titles with the metadata language that corresponds to the location you want to publish to (i.e. German metadata language for Germany or Japanese metadata language for Japan).Video: Availability
